Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, full Taylor Alison Swift. American singer/songwriter who's had great popularity with her stories she tells of her young heartbreak. Swift discovered a love for the arts at a very young age and she progressed quickly through roles in the children's theater and her first public appearance in front of a crowd of thousands. Swift was 11 years old when she performed The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers Basketball game. Following that Swift began to write songs, and also picked up the guitar. Swift got inspiration from musicians who played country music, like Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks as well as the Chicks in order to write original music which reflected the alienation she felt at 13 years old. Swift's family moved in Tennessee Pennsylvania at the age of 13, so that she could spend longer pursuing the country music label in Nashville.
