Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, actress and board member of SSC since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director and artistic director of the newly founded theatre company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. In her role as the Artistic Director of SSC She was also SSC's music supervisor, composer and tutor of the text. For her last year she worked as a director of lighting and design for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble and in this year's production made her directorial debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. She has worked in various other television shows apart from acting. Her family was raised by twin sisters and brothers at Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's wife who is a poet, Marylee Post. She was a student at Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. She briefly attended Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post was married prior she got married to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband since 1982. The couple has two daughters. Post's performance as an mother, wife and actress provides a fantastic example for Hollywood.
